Levels of Treatment for Recovery

TruVida Recovery offers a full continuum of care for patients who are suffering with alcohol or drug addictions.  These various levels of care are outlined as follows:

  1. Medically Assisted Detoxification
Detox is often the first step in an individual’s recovery process. This kind of treatment is also known as an inpatient treatment. The medication-assisted detox program at the TruVida Recovery provides a safe and sober environment for people who are withdrawing from alcohol or opiates (like heroin). Care is directed by a physician and our nurses, and we provide trained supervision 24 hours/day, 7 days/week to administer medications and assess each client’s health. Counselors work with clients to address their specific situation and help them connect to the next level of treatment.

  3. Residential Treatment
Once a client has passes through the withdrawal phase of treatment, we transition them to Residential treatment, where will still continue to provide suerpvision and support 24 hours per day, and 7 days a week.  In residential treatment we provide 6 hours of organized programming, 6 days per week, consisting of: various therapies, counseling sessions, CBT, smart recovery and/or 12 Step programs, workshops, outings and more. All of which are aligned to help individuals achieve and maintain recovery from addiction.

  5. PHP and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Treatment
In the PHP and IOP phase a treatment, programming is provided on a half-day schedule, 5 days per week, and typically lasts from 30 to 60 days.  After programming is completed each day, the client is free the client is free to live at home, or can reside at a designated transitional living facility.  PHP and IOP programs are similar to our Residential programs, except at this phase, a more customized approach is developed to adapt to the clients needs, desires and progress towards long term sobriety.  During off hours, many clients will work part-time jobs and attend college classes.  Our job placement department can also assist individuals who seek employment.

  7. Dual Diagnosis Treatment
We also provide counseling to people who suffer from depression, PTSD, manic-depression, anxiety or other forms of mental disorders which are sometimes intertwined with drug addictions. Our licensed therapist, psychologists, and psychiatrist all work in concert to help each client obtain sobriety and mental well-being. We provide each client a customized program in which the client doesn’t need to feel more depressed or anxious, but instead the client can open up and let us slowly change their perspective and their habits..

At TruVida Recovery, we also provide support to loved ones to help everyone involved learn how to build new patterns that support recovery rather than returning to old behaviors that could lead to relapse. This can help the family learn to recognize and avoid codependent or enabling behaviors, thereby building a healthier way of relating to each other in order to prevent the thoughts and situations that may lead to relapse.provides clients the ability to choose their own programs that they want to be a part of.
